If you like sour apples and easy ice cream recipes, this one is for you. It goes well in summer and fall.
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup unsweetened plain apple sauce
- .5 cup apple cider
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt (or 2 teaspoons table salt)
- 1 cup minimally-processed sugar
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir until throughly incorporated. Refrigerate for at least two hours, preferably overnight. Freeze according to your ice cream maker's directions.
